lunarcade is an international exhibition showcasing the latest in independent games, with a focus in this case on spatial narrative and minimalist, goal-less exploration.

the Sydney arm was presented 08.2012 @ Serial Space, Chippendale with a great response from the Australian gaming community - especially memorable was the Australian premiere of the acclaimed "J.S.Joust" [der gute fabrik]... this went down so well with the crowd we actually had NOISE complaints from our bustling inner city location [!] heres to all you inner city folk who like peace and quiet... and heres to all you awesome crew who support the long hours and much creative energy that is put into these independent and alternatve offerings!

it was also my first escapade into new media curation, with the space, tech and atmos you see below all a result of the work of Bryan Ma, Marc Chee and myself...

special thanks to Bryan Ma @ the pretentious gamer for asking me along on the ride!

special thanks A.I.E for providing the hardware

and Serial Space for such a cool venue :)
